Anita Kelsey

Anita Kelsey’s first career was as a singer and songwriter. She won a MOBO Award for her first album, with the UK garage act Sunship. Her vocals feature on many hit dance records and also in feature films. As a backing vocalist she has appeared on tracks with Razorlight, Kings of Leon, Boy George and the Spice Girls. In 2009 she decided on a new career – as a cat behaviourist and achieved a first class honours degree in Feline Behaviour & Psychology from Middlesex University. She now provides cat behaviour counselling, dealing with issues such as feline territorial aggression, furniture damage, feline separation anxiety and confidence building with shy or anxious rescue cats. She is a member of the Canine and Feline Behaviour Association (CFBA) and regularly writes for cat related magazines

Anita’s debut book was "Claws: Confessions of a Cat Groomer" and was followed by "Let's Talk About Cats". "Conversations On Feline Behaviour" which was published in 2020.
