About The Event
This year's Hastings Book Festival and Fringe gets underway with a super-rehearsed performance of four short, light-hearted plays by the Hastings Writers Group. Directed by Cindy Oswin and featuring 6 local actors, these plays were a great success when performed at The Stables Theatre in June. Don't miss the encore!
The event will be held at the Hot Tap Theatre, St Andrews Mews, Waldegrave Road, Hastings TN34 1SJ – just across the road from Marks and Spencer.

This is the opening night of the 2025 Festival and Fringe, and there will be a celebration in the bar above the Hot Tap Theatre and in St Andrews Mews after the performance. Everyone is welcome from 8pm, whether you have watched the plays or not.
