Returning by popular demand, the Open Mic night is organised by our good friends at the Hastings Book Festival Fringe.
Poets are invited to perform for five minutes each, then at the end of the evening the audience members will vote for their favourite - so tell your family and friends to come and increase your chances of winning! This is a fun event and everyone is welcome to take part, whether you're an experienced performance poet or a complete novice. Come and have a go - we promise you a friendly, supportive environment!
FIRST PRIZE: The winner will receive £50 in cash AND will be invited back to the Observer Building to perform again for five minutes at the start of renowned poet, comedian and musician John Hegley's event on…
