About The Event
Hastings-based Roelof Bakker is the publisher of artist-led imprint Negative Press London, a small press publishing artists’ books. On the first weekend of this year’s Hastings Book Festival, The Hastings Writers Workshop space hosts a ‘Negative Press Artists’ Books Reading Room’, with visitors invited to peruse and read exhibited books.
READING EVENT Saturday 13 September, 3pm. Hosted by Roelof Bakker with invited guests Martin Crawley (I Think Of You, Negative Press London, 2021) and Michael Atavar (A-B, Negative Press London, 2026)
Negative Press books are held in international collections including Museum of Modern Art Library, New York, US; and National Art Library, Victoria and Albert Museum, London, UK.
