About The Event

Best-selling author, Alison Weir, joins us to relate the spellbinding story of Elizabeth of York, the first Tudor queen. Elizabeth was the eldest daughter of the House of York, and had assumed that one day she would become queen, but her future changed when her father, King Edward, died suddenly.

Alison’s talk will bring to life the extraordinary and tumultuous story of Elizabeth - the sister of the ‘Princes in the Tower’ who went on to marry Henry VII and become the mother of Henry VIII.

This event will end with a Q & A session and a book signing.
