About The Event
Hastings Book Festival is delighted to welcome Sean Campbell, the Founder & Editor in Chief at époque press, an independent publisher based in Brighton established to promote and represent the very best in new literary talent. Through a combination of its main publishing imprint and its online é-zine it aims to bring inspirational and thought-provoking work to a wider audience, examples of which include the Barbellion Prize winning book, What Willow Says by Lynn Buckle and the Women's Prize for Fiction longlisted, In Defence of the Act by Effie Black.
Sean loves reading great works of contemporary and literary fiction, works that have a strong, unique voice and which hook the reader into an engaging narrative, and he will be with us all day offering a set of one- to- one sessions for local writers.
